The moment Nell set foot in Hill House her fate was sealed, she was destined to become the Bent-Neck Lady. 2. ABOUT THE BACKGROUND - Nell is a restless spirit bound to Hill House, haunted by memories of a tragic farewell. She wanders its dark halls, revisiting the rooms and shadows where fragments of her life remain. Each night, she searches for closure, reliving the heartache of her final moments. But as the clock strikes midnight, her appearance shifts from a sorrowful figure to the terrifying Bent-Neck Lady, cursed to repeat the cycle forever. Her ghostly form emerges only when darkness fills the rooms, her whispers and fleeting shadow felt by anyone who dares enter Hill House. She yearns to break free but is bound to the place she once called home, haunted by her past and by those who trespass upon it.
