I designed a 3D CGI advertisement for a smartwatch, meticulously crafting a visually striking and highly realistic representation of the product. 3D CGI advertisements, like the one I created, captivate viewers with their lifelike visuals and dynamic presentations. By providing a more immersive experience, these ads can evoke emotions and create a stronger connection between the product and the potential customer. Thought Process:
Creating the smartwatch CGI ad began with a strategic selection of location, symbolizing a deep connection between the product and the audience. Residing in Siliguri, I chose the iconic Lions Clock Tower at Panitanki More as the backdrop, a central location that resonates with the local community. This clock, representing something old and no longer functional, was the perfect metaphor for introducing the smartwatch as a necessary upgrade. The clock’s imagery, with a visible crack, was designed to emphasize the need for innovation, suggesting that outdated technology must give way to modern advancements. I integrated this with a reference to speed, highlighting the area’s constant motion and the idea that, with the smartwatch, there's no need to stop. This dynamic environment, where vehicles and life move swiftly, aligns with the product's promise of efficiency and real-time connectivity. To further enhance the symbolism, I added a cloth over the hoarding, representing the unveiling of new technology in a place primed for innovation. The combination of these elements, supported by sound effects (SFX), created a narrative that resonates with the audience, making the ad not just a product showcase, but a statement of progress and modernity.
