released for Pete Docter’s ‘Soul’
Pixar has just released a brand-new trailer, poster, and images, for Pete Docter’s next film, Soul. Arriving in theatres June 19, Soul tells the story of Joe Gardner, a middle-school band teacher who gets the chance of a lifetime to play at the best jazz club in town. But one small misstep takes him from the streets of New York City to The Great Before – a fantastical place where new souls get their personalities, quirks and interests before they go to Earth. Determined to return to his life, Joe teams up with a precocious soul, 22, who has never understood the appeal of the human experience. As Joe desperately tries to show 22 what’s great about living, he may just discover the answers to some of life’s most important questions.

An iconic celebration
of a gaming icon
Does the name Mario seem familiar to you? That's because, he is the face of one of the largest game franchises in existence - Super Mario. Arena celebrated ‘Mario Day’ on 10th March, also known as ‘Mar10th Day’, and we had a lot of fun indulging in activities such as moulding clay models of Mario, and a small lesson on the history of the character.

Thinking design
creatively
Good design relies on a thought process that considers a lot of aspects such as target audience, the message it's trying to convey, the importance of colour etc. We explained the same to our students through an online technical session with our faculty. 7 students attended this, and the feedback was outstanding.
