Terminator: Dark Fate is the sixth Terminator film, and it is a direct sequel to Terminator 2: Judgement Day. The film
was directed by Tim Miller, with James Cameron serving as producer.

More than two decades after the events of Terminator 2: Judgment Day, Sarah Connor (Linda Hamilton) sets out to
protect a young woman named Dani Ramos (Natalia Reyes) and her friends as a liquid metal Terminator (Gabriel
Luna) sent from the future attempts to terminate them.

Disney’s ‘Frozen 2’ Released

‘Frozen 2’ is one of 2019’s most anticipated release. The sequel is a more mature story with Elsa, Anna, Kristoff, Olaf and Sven embarking on a magical journey to an enchanted forest in an attempt to discover the origins of Elsa’s magic powers.

|
In ‘Frozen 2’, the directors, Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck have raised their visual effects game in scenes where Elsa battles the elements, especially where she tames the water spirit, visualized as a horse, in order to ride across the Dark Sea.
|
|
|
One of the main highlights of ‘Frozen 2’ is the quality of the animation and in this sequel, the animators have gone all out and it shows.
|

The movie was released in theaters on November 22, 2019

ARENA FEST NEW DELHI 2019

On 22nd November 2019, Arena students in New Delhi experienced a fun-filled fest where they could
take the stage at Dilli Haat Pitampura and showcase their talents in various fields such as singing,
dancing, stand-up comedies etc. The fest, managed by Hindustan Times was a success for the institute,
seeing an unexpected footfall of 4000+ in crowds.

CREATIVE MINDS AHMEDABAD 2019
|
|
|
On 26th November 2019, more than 350 Arena students attended Creative Minds, our annual multi-city
student competition that sees them going head-to-head showcasing their practical work in cover
design, comic page, 3D architecture and much more. The event saw experts from the field of Media &
Entertainment judging the entries and giving invaluable feedback, with the winners receiving trophies
and certificates for their groundbreaking work.

Pursuing their love for the medium of video games and video game development, 80 Arena students
attended a session on Game Development, conducted by RAH Suresh Kumar and RAH Cruz Luster on
5th November 2019.

ANIMATION FROM TECHNICOLOR
|
|
|
A session conducted by Supratim on animation by Technicolor, who are world leaders in creating
high-quality computer-generated animations used across mediums. 30 Arena students attended this
insightful session on 16th November 2019.

ELEMENTS OF ART, PRINCIPLE OF DESIGN AND PSYCHOLOGY OF COLOURS

On 21st & 22nd November 2019, 55 eager students participated in a technical session on design and its
various aspects, conducted by RAH Suresh Kumar. Students graduating from the centre also attended a
special session on head modelling.

| ARENA RECREATES THE RAMAYANA

|
|
|
35 students got a chance to showcase their skills in graphic design, 2D animation, motion posters and
3D modelling on 28th November 2019. They were tasked with recreating a scene from the Ramayana
with the skills learned in their courses.

| LEARN PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP

|
|
|
On 21st November 2019, Devadatta Kashalikar took 25 aspiring shutterbugs on an enlightening journey, where they learned all the technical and aesthetic techniques of photography.

14th November 2019 saw various fun activities being conducted to engage the students. The activities pushed the creative and performance-based abilities of the students in a fun, light-hearted manner.

MICKEY MOUSE CLAY MODELLING SESSION

Celebrating one of the greatest cartoon icons of the world, Mickey Mouse, we conducted an activity
called Creative Art on 18th November 2019. The students got hands-on experience with animation
through clay modelling, which further helped them develop a better perspective on 3D forms, character
creation, texture & detail.

SESSION ON PERSONALITY DEVELOPMENT
|
|
|
|
|
On 20th November 2019, 20 students were groomed in skills that will not only help them pass job
interviews, but help them evolve into better professionals on the job in the future. This was done by
teaching them the importance of maintaining a healthy work portfolio, developing soft skills, interview
etiquettes & basic communication skills.

A total number of 67,360 new projects were uploaded in the month of November on Creosouls and 740
new users joined. Also, a total number of 92 job openings were posted for different locations in the month
of November.
