Good Conversation Starts with Coffee

Arena Animation conducted an event called ‘Good Conversation Starts with Coffee’. It was a technical discussion
among guest speakers like Yunus Bukhari – Founder, Artery Animation, Chaitanya – Filmmaker, Elumalai Somu –
Animation Manager at Zynga, Ibrahim Basha – Sr. Animator, MPC and Mehul Mahicha – Director, Vivi5 Animation
Art Studio on 12th January. It was attended by 100 students.

Arena Animation organised a great interactive session on 12th January where the HR of Xentrix Studios –
Mr. Rahul discussed with the students about the strength of the studio and what skillsets were expected from the
students to join them. The session was attended by more than 60 students.

Outdoor Sketching and Photoshop Training

Arena Animation conducted an Outdoor Sketching session in January, where 4 students participated in live
sketching and learnt about Film Location Art. Photoshop Training from Amazon Placement Cell was also
organised by Arena Animation, where 10 students received training on using Photoshop professionally. They also
participated in Amazon HR Interview

Workshop on VFX Green Screen Removal

A Student Workshop was conducted by Mr. Tejas Porecha – Regional Academic Head on VFX Green Screen Removal and Compositing on 16th January. 33 students participated in the workshop.

Arena Animation conducted a workshop on Media and Entertainment Industry exclusively for women at Anna Adarsh College.

|

Arena Animation conducted a session on Digital Photography wherein students were given certificates post session. This was conducted under Animation Camp.

Pongal Celebration
|
|
|
Arena Animation celebrated Pongal by decorating the centre with sugarcane, coloured papers and
artworks of students. Activities like Rangoli and Drawing Competition, Musical Chairs, Throwball
and Arm Wrestling were conducted.

Republic Day Celebration
|
|
|
Republic Day was celebrated at Arena Animation centres across the country on 26th January. On this
occasion, an activity ‘Design a Logo for your City’ was also conducted, where students from participating
centres had to design a logo for their respective cities. 21 centres with 285 students participated in the event..

Creosouls is a Social Network Portal specialising in showcasing talent and online portfolio to build careers of budding
students. Arena Animation is the first and the only brand to implement this platform worldwide for
students. There are around 27,235 total users of this platform with a total of 34,244 projects.

The Arena Animation Regional Academic Heads conducted a training and appreciation activity for those students whose projects are trending by giving them Creosouls T-shirts.
|
|
|
A Student Session on Creosouls was conducted by Arena Animation on 17th January, where students’ works were acknowledged and activities related to Creosouls were held.
