First Trailer Arrives for Illumination’s
‘Secret Life of Pets 2’

Illumination Entertainment has dropped the first trailer for the sequel to
Secret Life of Pets, the 2016 animated feature that gave pet owners a
sneak peek at what their precious animals did while they were away
from home.
|
|
|
The ‘Secret Life of Pets 2’ is produced by Illumination founder and CEO
Chris Meledandri and his longtime collaborator Janet Healy, with both
director Chis Renaud and writer Brian Lynch returning for the sequel.

‘Secret Life of Pets 2’ arrives in theaters on June 7, 2019
|
|
|
The new trailer gives us a glimpse of what audiences can expect as the
gang reunites to take down a villainous animal-abusing vet, Dr. Francis,
voiced by Harrison Ford.

Blue Sky’s ‘Spies in Disguise’

20th Century Fox has released the first trailer, official poster and
character posters for the studio’s upcoming film ‘Spies in Disguise’, an
animated comedy set in the high-octane globe-trotting world of
international espionage starring Will Smith and Tom Holland.
|
|
|
Audi brings futuristic design and mobility to the big screen for the first
time with the Audi RSQ e-tron, a fictional, virtual performance concept
car created for 20th Century Fox’s animated film ‘Spies in Disguise’. The
full-battery electric model, created by Audi Design in cooperation with
Blue Sky Studios, combines automated driving with artificial intelligence
and transformational technology.

Directed by Nick Bruno and Troy Quane, ‘Spies in Disguise’ is a Fox
Animation production, with Blue Sky Studios and Chernin
Entertainment. The project is based on Pigeon: Impossible, an original
animated short film by Lucas Martell. ‘Spies in Disguise’ arrives in
theatres everywhere on September 13, 2019

LAIKA Releases Trailer,
Poster & New Image from ‘Missing Link’
|

A new trailer, poster and image have arrived from ‘Missing Link’,
LAIKA’s fifth animated film, introducing Mr. Link, the slightly silly,
surprisingly smart and soulful beast, and the last living remnant of
Man’s primitive ancestry, voiced by Zach Galifianakis.
|
|
|
As species go, Mr. Link couldn't be more endangered; he's the last of
his kind and he's lonely. Proposing a daring quest to find his rumoured
distant relatives, he enlists the help of Sir Lionel Frost (Hugh Jackman),
the world's foremost investigator of myths and monsters, and Adelina
Fortnight (Zoe Saldana), who possesses the only known map to the
group's secret destination, in an odyssey around the world to find the
fabled valley of Shangri-La.

CREATIVE MELA 2018
|
|
|
65 students participated in an extracurricular competition hosted by Arena Animation, who got the
opportunity to witness ‘Creative Mela 2018’ – a Digital Art Gallery at the centre open, to all existing
and ex-students along with their friends & family.
|
|
The event was aimed at helping students focus on and improvise their conceptual & technical skill
sets required in Animation, Visual Effects & Digital Media industry. The participating students
displayed their digital work on the centre’s wall and computer screen. This activity led to over 200
walk-ins out of which 2-3 students enrolled.

COLLEGE SEMINAR ON MEDIA & ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRY
|
|
|
Mr. Tejas Porecha, Regional Academic Head (East), conducted a college seminar on 27th & 28th November
for creating awareness on the Media & Entertainment industry, along with briefing on the various technologies
like Designing, Editing, Animation & VFX. The seminar was followed by a Question and Answer session.

CHILDREN’S DAY CELEBRATION
|
|
|
Arena Animation celebrated Children’s Day on 14th November where 30 students participated in the
celebration. Apart from this, 10 students participated in Pencil Drawing Wall Activity where they got to
learn pencil drawing techniques and the importance of creativity
|

|
WORLD ORIGAMI DAY CELEBRATION
|
|
|
Total 138 students participated in World Origami Day Celebration by Arena Animation on 11th, 12th,
16th & 17th November where they created lots of Origami art with paper. Origami helps one to
understand, create and manipulate basic geometric shapes such as squares, rectangles and triangles.

|
DIWALI CELEBRATION COMPETITION
|
|
|
On 2nd November, 100 students participated in the Diwali competition where they had to create
decorative art and craft pieces. The best three were awarded with prizes. Arena Animation also
organised Game Zone for its students on 3rd November

BEST FRIENDS FOREVER
|
|
|
Arena Animation organised a Best Friends Forever activity where 100+ students participated in fun
activities like Photo Editing, Face Painting & Sketching with their friends.

CREATIVE MINDS 2018-19
|
|
|
Arena Animation organised an event called ‘Creative Minds 2018-19’ at Bengaluru on 23rd November
where speakers Mr. Dijo Davis from MPC Studios and Mr. Pranay Aggarwal from DNEG Studios
delivered sessions which included lots of creative activities for students and other participants.
