Pixar Reveals next feature b Lucab

Pixar has just announced their next original feature, Luca, directed by Oscar-nominee Enrico Casarosa (La Luna) and produced by Andrea Warren (Lava, Cars 3), scheduled for a release in the summer of 2021. Set in a beautiful seaside town on the Italian Riviera, Luca is a coming-of-age story about one young boy experiencing an unforgettable summer filled with gelato, pasta, and endless scooter rides.

Luca shares these adventures with his newfound best friend, but all the fun is threatened by a deeply held secret: he is a sea monster from another world just below the water surface.

Luca releases on June 18, 2021.

First Look: Unreal Engine 5 moving towards high-end photorealism

Art imitates life, it seems. Keanu Reeves (The Matrix, John Wick) is penning his first comic book series, and if the pop culture legends are true, it may be autobiographical. After all, the main character is an immortal who looks very similar to the prolific actor. Reeves is teaming up with New York Times bestselling writer Matt Kindt (Folklords, Spider-Man), acclaimed Italian artist Alessandro Vitti (Marvel, DC Comics), colorist Bill Crabtree (BRPD), and letterer Clem Robins (Hellboy) to create b BRZRKRb b a 12-issue limited series about a demi-god contracted by the government.

Fundamental VR offering Free Ventilator Course for Health Professionals

The comic series will be distributed through Boom! Studios alongside b Power Rangersb and b Bill and Ted.b Print copies of BRZRKR #1 will be available from October 7, 2020 in comic book shops or digitally at the BOOM! Studios web store.

The Significance of Portfolio Development

An engaging portfolio increases your chances during a job application. Mr. Tanvir Khan from Trendsway Design Studio conducted an insightful session on 4th July on portfolio development and provided information on different job profiles. He also talked about the importance of research when making a design portfolio, and readily solved studentb s queries. The session was attended by 116 students.

The Correlation between Design and Digital Marketing

On 6th July, Mr. Rajeev Shukla, a Digital Marketing Specialist and Content Head, along with Mr. Milan Makwana, a Design Lead, took a deep dive into the different aspects of Digital Marketing. The speakers discussed the impact of design on marketing and provided the 100 participants with case studies. Additionally, they spoke about how digital marketing technologies are used to market products in the Web space. The students got a chance to interact with the experts and raise their queries related to the field.

The Art of Freelancing

Freelancing as a job can be both tricky and exciting. On 11th July, Mr. Joel Fernandes conducted a session where he addressed the duties of a freelancer. He mentioned the perks of a good portfolio and taught students techniques on how to target clients. He even solved the doubts which were raised among the 103 students.

Web Design is not an easy task and managing it is even harder. On 25th July, Mr. Prashant, I.T. Head - Brand Transformation at Brandpulse, conducted a session on web designing and management. He explained to the students the steps of creating a website and integrating it on mobile apps. He also talked about the latest trends in the field of design and development and how to implement them.

On 31st July, the Director of Brandpulse, Mr. Ravi Jadhav, conducted a session for a batch of 70 students. The session included examples of case studies and archives of the work done by his agency. He also gave an explanation of the process of campaign creation.

Flip Book Contest

Arena Animation organised a flip book contest on 6th July, with 100 students taking part in it. The contest was held to guide students on how animation works frame by frame, and how to implement the principles of animation. The winners were felicitated with certificates.

UI & UX Design Contest

On 24th July, Arena Animation conducted a UI and UX design contest for its students, wherein they were tasked with designing a UI for numerous brands. The 75 participants came up with a collection of unique designs for their submissions. The students with some of the most outstanding designs were awarded certificates. This activity enabled the students to learn designing a UI for various brands within the set time limit.

Parent-Teacher Meets

Two Parent-Teacher Meets were conducted online on the 3rd and 10th of July. The parents were updated on their wardsb progress at Arena Animation. The meeting was conducted online and the sessions were attended by 50 & 43 parents, respectively.

Career Opportunities in Digital Marketing

Arena Animation conducted an insightful session about careers in the ever-growing industry of digital marketing on 25th July. A total of 250 students attended the webinar.

Webinars for New Inquiries

Arena Animation conducted 4 webinars for potential students who want to explore careers in media and entertainment. A total of 27 students attended the webinars.

Principles of Animation for 3D Animation

During this session, students were taught the principles of 3D Animation through the 1981 book b The Illusion of Life: Disney Animation written by reputed Disney Animators, Ollie Johnston and Frank Thomas. This session was attended by 10 students.

Logo Design

Through this session, students were explained the various elements of logo design and its various applications in branding.

Concept of Poster Design

The session was conducted to introduce students to the concept of poster design and its role in promoting content. Students were explained the various aspects and techniques to create stunning poster designs. This session was attended by 11 students.

Tips & Tricks for a Gaming Portfolio

On 9th July, the founders of Reboot Game Studios conducted an insightful session for potential video game makers of Arena Animation. They explained the importance of a good gaming portfolio and all the elements that make a presentable portfolio in the industry

Making of Explainer Videos

On 27th July, the Creative Head of Broadcast 2 World, Anish Biswas conducted a session on making explainer videos. He discussed the little intricacies, formats and techniques used in the making of a high-quality explainer video in the industry.
