Coronaviruses are a large family of viruses that cause a wide range of illnesses. Generally, they cause a mild illness such as the common cold. Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is a new respiratory illness caused by a new type, or novel, coronavirus previously unseen in humans. The virus is now spreading, which means that appropriate awareness training will play an integral role in helping to stop the spread of this coronavirus. The Short Film Contest is creation of Short films (audio video content) on creating awareness about Coronovirus : Covid-19 using different mediums. Create a 90-second Short Film (Animated, Motion Graphics, White-Board Animation, Live Action etc.) You can create your own soundtrack or use any free soundtrack for your Short Film Output Format : Full HD Quality, MPG4 (H.264) Please do not use any Arena Center logo or your Credits in the 90-second short film, it can be included at the start or end of the film. Eligibility

Provide an online transfer link of your short film (WeTransfer) to your respective RAHs Also email a Short film poster (A4 size JPG file with max. size of 1MB). Duration: CREATE A 90-SECOND SHORT FILM. Video Format: HD 1080 x 1920, H.264 MP4 (Full HD). Team size: A team of Maximum 4 Students per entry. Mediums for Animation Short Films - Any medium (Animated, Motion Graphics, White-Board Animation, Live Action, Mixed Media etc.). JUDGING CRITERIA - Jury evaluates film entries based on several subjective criteria: Storytelling, Originality, Concept, Technique & Appeal.

Note - We expect the team of students to be working together on their Short Film through Online platforms like Whatsapp, Skype, Zoom, etc., from the safety of their own homes.
I.Entrants must send entries as required in the contest announcement in order to be eligible. Entries received after the deadline set forth in the contest announcement are null and void.  
II.A team of Maximum 4 Students per entry will be considered for contest entry. Individual Entries & Multiple entries are also allowed. 
III.All artworks, drawings, text, and any other content or information (collectively and severally, “Materials”) submitted by you to Arena Animation shall become the sole and exclusive property of ARENA ANIMATION, and ARENA ANIMATION shall have no obligation to preserve, return, or otherwise make available to you or others any Materials.
IV.ARENA ANIMATION may use, reproduce, edit, display, transmit, prepare derivative works of, modify, publish, and otherwise make use of Materials in any and all media, whether now known or hereinafter created—throughout the world and for any purpose— without compensation to you of any kind. 
V.By submitting Materials to ARENA ANIMATION, you represent and warrant that the Materials do not infringe any copyright, trademark, property rights, rights of privacy or publicity of any person, or any other right of any third party and that you have the full and unrestricted right to transfer the Materials to ARENA ANIMATION free and clear of any claims or encumbrances. 
VI.You acknowledge and agree that ARENA ANIMATION shall have no obligation to post, display, or otherwise make publicly available any Materials submitted by you. 
You acknowledge and agree that Materials submitted by you may be made available by ARENA ANIMATION for viewing, rating, reviewing, and commenting by the public. You acknowledge that comments or ratings that you disagree with or are unhappy about may be published or otherwise become associated with Materials that you submit to ARENA ANIMATION. By submitting Materials to ARENA ANIMATION, you waive any privacy expectations that you may have with respect to the Materials.
VIII.You agree to hold ARENA ANIMATION and its officers, directors, employees, agents, successors, and assigns harmless from and against—and hereby waive any right to pursue—any claims of any nature arising in connection with ARENA ANIMATION’s use of the Materials submitted to ARENA ANIMATION and used in any manner in ARENA ANIMATION’s sole and absolute discretion. 
IX.Contests involving evaluations of Materials submitted as part of the contest will be judged entirely in the sole and absolute discretion of ARENA ANIMATION. Decisions by ARENA ANIMATION are final. 
X.All entrants and winners must be students of Arena Animation pursuing a program at any of the Arena Animation institute across India. 
XI.Winners may not request substitutions of prize winnings. All winners are solely responsible for any and all taxes and/or fees as well as all additional costs that may be incurred. 
XII.Neither ARENA ANIMATION nor its officers, directors, employees, agents, successors, or assigns shall be liable for any warranty, costs, damage, injury, or any other claims incurred as a result of the usage of a prize by any winner including but in no way limited to each and every aspect of the taking of a trip or tour as part of a contest prize. ARENA ANIMATION is not liable for any loss arising out of or in connection with any contest promoted by ARENA ANIMATION. 
XIII.If the specified prize becomes unavailable for any reason, ARENA ANIMATION in its sole and absolute discretion may substitute a prize of like or equal value. 
XIV.A contest is null and void in any jurisdiction where prohibited by law. 
XV.ARENA ANIMATION reserves the right in its sole and absolute discretion to terminate any contest at any time without prior notice. 
XVI.ARENA ANIMATION reserves the right in its sole and absolute discretion to alter any contest rules at any time. 
XVII.By entering a contest, you conclusively are deemed to have agreed to be bound by these contest rules and terms and conditions as well as by any rules specific to such contest. This is an irrevocable condition of entry.
